Flexible Friday!
Social Studies:
If we were in the New Boston Central School building, we would have our traditional Memorial Day presentation today.
A tradition at New Boston Central School has been our Memorial Day Assembly, honoring those lives lost during the various war conflicts. This year with Connected Learning, we created a virtual event. We took audio clips from last year's assembly, had Mrs. Kjellander record a couple of new songs, and some band students record Taps. Thank you to all those who have contributed to our Stars and Stripes tribute with their artwork with Ms. Chalson.
We have put together what we hope families can sit down and watch, learn, and hold discussions on the true meaning of Memorial Day:

Sing along with the Army Song on SeeSaw! Had we been holding the Memorial Day Assembly in person, first graders would be singing this song for our community. Today first graders can practice and try to sing along with the Army Song for their families.
