READ: Super Tools Click on the book Super Tools Before you read, click on the arrow on the left side of the screen to check out the Phonics/Fluency pages (220-221) Click on the speakers to listen to information about the spelling patterns. Look for words with these patterns as you read Super Tools. You can listen to it being read, or try reading it independently.
After Reading: Go to pages 232-233 to review our comprehension strategy:
*Theme (This will be essential in order to understand your TO DO.)
*Parents: Finding the THEME of a story can be a challenge for first graders. Your child will likely need support talking about the story and identifying the big idea.
TO DO: Super Tools - Identifying the Theme You can do this on SEESAW or use the printable file. Please be sure to write a clear and accurate sentence.

Write about a time when you had to work together with someone to complete a task. Write at least three sentences about what you did, who you worked with, and how you worked together to do what needed to be done.
(Complete in Seesaw or use writing paper, then upload to Seesaw.)

This is a great time to go back to the Fact Triangles #1, #2, #3, #4 to practice. (You may have them from a previous lesson, or download file below and print pages 1-3 and 7-10. Refer to the Family Letter below for how to use Fact Triangles as flash cards. Talk strategy as you solve the facts together!)
