We learned about Martin Luther King Jr. and read and wrote about PEACE and what it means to us. Check out our class book about peace on Seesaw!
We started learning map skills this week, so students are challenged today in Seesaw to make a map of their bedroom! We have been working on our fact power in math. We will finish up Unit 4 next week, and then dive into Unit 5, which is all about place value. The texts we are reading are becoming more difficult, so students will be most successful if they are practicing their reading each and every day.
Next week our school will be participating in Cardboard Challenge 2021! This will be an optional remote assignment on Seesaw during which students can get totally creative, making anything their little hearts desire out of cardboard. So... do not get rid of your cardboard on dump day tomorrow! Save it up so that your child has materials to create with this week. Any cardboard creations that students make will be showcased on our Friday zoom, along with some of the maps we are creating.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs. Willard
