This week students read and wrote about where they live, and today they even made mini-models of their houses! We reused milk cartons and added color, windows, doors, etc. We're keeping them here for a bit because they look so cool on our classroom windowsills:
Mrs. Charles, our librarian, is cleaning house. Students were given the opportunity to choose a book or two to keep. So if your child has random books in his or her backpack, they were library discards, and they are yours to enjoy!
Next week we will be reading and writing about pets. There will be an optional assignment on Seesaw for students who would like to share a picture of a pet and tell what makes that pet special. We will show and share the pictures in class!
Have a wonderful weekend!
